- This project began with a steep, overgrown hillside and an uneven, worn pathway that lacked both structure and usability. We started by clearing and excavating the entire area which allowed us to properly reshape the space and prepare it for a long-lasting installation. As with every project we complete, we installed a reliable drainage system behind the retaining wall to ensure proper water flow and prevent future pressure buildup or damage.
- Next, we constructed a strong retaining wall system to stabilize the hillside and define the new layout. With the structure in place, we installed a compacted base following proper installation standards to ensure durability and prevent settling over time. Bedding sand was then carefully leveled to create a smooth, even surface for the pavers.
- Once the foundation was complete, we installed the pavers with precision, creating a clean, modern walkway that flows seamlessly through the space. The joints were secured, and the entire area was detailed for both function and visual appeal.
